Our training process is a six-week course called Understanding Smart Reading Interventions.

Each week you will do a 45-minute interactive training session online, which will deliver understanding and techniques for you to apply over the coming days.

It is a very practical course and it will be expected that you do implement this knowledge during the course. This is professional self-improvement, not “shelf-improvement”. You need to want to take action.

Content

The course will help you understand and fix different problems like the following:

• Good word reading, but poor comprehension
• Feeling overwhelmed by a whole page of text
• Weak decoding despite years of phonics instruction
• Consistent guessing with short, common words
• Anxiety, leading to a shutdown when trying to read

We have routinely had highly experienced literacy experts attend the course and leave astonished by what they have learned.

Cost

The course is normally £350, but right now we have charitable funding to allow us to offer you an 80% discount. So you can build your understanding for just £70.
